The company has been testing these stores in Ohio, where the first store is due to open in Cleveland suburb of Eastlake.
The Giant Eagle owned Valu Store brings value focused grocery to Ohio. The stores stock private label products as well as bargain and low price brands like Valu Time, Top Care and Food Club that give you great deals and high value for money. The store will also have meat and produce products in specially designated departments and a Dollar Zone part that will have general merchandise that sell for just $1. But shoppers will not be able to buy into the popular discount gasoline program which Giant Eagle is well known for.
