Lehman Bros wasn’t rotten at the core 0

Mar27

The famous or infamous Lehman Bros bankruptcy tale is not that the company was rotten at the core. This was certainly not true as the company had a set of stollid and solid foundations of an army of employees who were working and functioning quite effectively. At the end of the day, it had 24,000 + employees making money and just about 8 (at the very to) who were blowing it away. This is quite amazing but true, because the board just wanted to rule over the company with an iron fist and not listen to anyone. This is one of the main reasons why some of the former board members may be summoned by the Congress again, for their wheelings and dealings that bought the 158 year old company to its knees super fast.

There is a lot of answering that these folks up there have to do, and a lot of explaining too. There is evidence and witness proof that the ‘powers that be’ at Lehman Bros. repeatedly ignored and stubbornly neglected the warnings and the pleas by employees as well as consultants for the company to change course and mend its ways, right till the company finally sank like the Titanic of the financial world.
